The project, designed by CALLISON, started in 2012 and was finished in 2015. The designers apply the 24V neon light to the shopping mall.
Different from the classical lighting style of shopping malls, Gemdale Lake Town Dajing Shopping Mall creates a more simple, concise and clean environment by using the neon flex of a single white color.
The cool white color gives enough brightness to the shopping mall that it looks like daylight inside of it even though it’s evening.
In addition, the flexibility and softness of the neon flex emphasize the water-like lines of beauty shown by the architecture, adding more sense of flowing vitality to the architecture and bringing the building to life.
In a word, the neon flex light has become a sparkling point of the project.
