Haukeland Hospital is the first underground light rail stop in Bergen city.
In November 2022, the Bergen city railway was expanded by a 9 km long light rail line.
In the overall design of the train station, the designer chose an industrial style, which is characterized by commonly using concrete, brick, and metal to showcase their raw textures, or by using other materials to make them look like concrete, brick, and metal.
In the lighting design of the train station, the designer chose white monochrome neon flex LED lighting with a color temperature of 6000K, as it adds a modern touch.
The 6000K white light creates a cool atmosphere, which aligns well with the minimalist characteristics of industrial style.
The minimalist industrial design, combined with white neon LED lighting installed at the intersections of different walls, imparts a sense of understated luxury to the entire station.
