In lighting design, there is a concept that combines modern lighting with classical architecture.
The pool lighting design at Resort Izukogen exemplifies this idea well. Resort Izukogen is located in Ito with very popular attractions in the immediate vicinity.
The designer selected monochrome neon flex LED lighting with a color temperature of 2700 Kelvin for the pool illumination when designing the lighting for Resort Izukogen.
The warm light illuminates the stone slabs at the bottom of the pool, and the warm white light on the stone slabs integrates seamlessly with the wooden boards at the pool’s edge, preserving the original classical atmosphere of the building while creating a novel aesthetic.
The water landscape is bathed in pleasantly warm light and emphasizes the generosity of the outdoor area.
