What is Long Run COB LED Strip?
Our long-run LED strips are different from regular strip lights because they have tiny constant current integrated circuits on the printed circuit board instead of simple resistors. This ensures that each LED chip receives exactly the same current, thereby achieving high brightness uniformity.
The long run COB LED strips are specifically designed for long-term lighting applications that require stable brightness and minimal voltage drop. They offer seamless and spot-free lighting effects and have a longer installation length.

By directly installing the LED chips on the PCB and encapsulating them in a layer of fluorescent powder, we achieve extremely high light point density. The result is a continuous and smooth beam, which will not have dark spots even when observed closely.

Lighting is not only about brightness, but also about the accuracy of color presentation. Our strip lights can accurately reproduce the colors of the objects being illuminated.

Heat can cause light output attenuation and color changes, and gradually deteriorate over time. The “long-life” series is made to last. We use a high-quality 2-milligram copper double-layer printed circuit board. This makes the LED cooler and lasts longer by letting heat escape more easily.

Our COB technology maximally increases the surface area of the light, which makes it more energy efficient. It provides intense brightness suitable for focused lighting and main ambient lighting.

Essential Installation Details
A. Line Layout Suggestions
Although Long Run can achieve single-ended power supply of 20 meters, for circuits longer than 30 meters, we recommend using dual-ended power supply to ensure the electrical performance reaches the optimal stable state and guarantees safety.
B. Power Supply Calculation
Always calculate the total power (W = W/m × length). For example, a 20-meter-long light strip that is 10 watts per meter, considering a 20% safety margin, requires at least 240 watts of power.

How long can a COB LED strip run continuously?
Depending on the voltage and power design, it can run for 10–20 meters without a noticeable drop in brightness.
Do I still need power injection?
Less frequently than standard strips, but still needed for very long installations.
