What is Neon LED Strip?
Flex neon LED strips are molded heat dissipation light strips with high brightness SMD LED strips embedded inside and silicone, PVC or PU (polyurethane) wrapped outside.
The word “flexible” refers to the fact that they are mounted on flexible light strips, rather than rigid light strips. This structural feature makes them versatile and easy to install.
LED neon strips project light without visible dots or hot spots. The light output is similar to traditional neon tubes but does not contain any of the irritating gases, chemicals or finicky transformers required by traditional neon lights.
Neon LED strips can be classified according to their bending direction, shell material, operating voltage and light color. They can be bent horizontally (side bend), vertically (top bend), 3D bend (horizontal and vertical bend) or 360 degrees. The shell material can be PVC, silicone or PU (polyurethane), and the operating voltage can be low (12V/24V/36V/48V) or high (120VAC/220VAC). Light color can be monochrome, tunable white, RGB, RGBW, DMX512 pixel RGB, or SPI pixel RGB.

LED Neon Flex Technical Parameter Diagram Guide
When you want to buy LED neon strips, are you confused about the various technical parameters? Which bending direction should I choose? What is the minimum bending diameter? Can you understand the technical parameters of LED Neon Flex? Please see the detailed LED neon strip physical parameters diagram below.
Take a top-emitting horizontal bending LED neon flex as an example. Please see the detailed diagram below.
First of all, you need to understand 2 dimension sizes, one is the diameter of the product, and the other is the minimum bending diameter. The product diameter refers to the size of the product’s appearance. As shown in the following figure 1. The neon section size is 20mm * 12mm.
The minimum bending diameter of the product refers to the minimum bending diameter reached by the product in the correct bending direction-that is, the maximum bending range, as shown in Figure 2. The min bending diameter is 100mm.
Second, confirm the bending direction of the LED neon strip. For example, in Figure 3, the LED neon is a Horizontal Bending LED neon flex. During installation and use, it can only be bent in the direction shown in the figure, and not in the direction shown in Figure 4. Otherwise, it will affect the normal use and service life of the product.
Third, confirm the length of the neon strip and the length of the cuttable unit. As shown in Figure 5, the length of this neon strip is 5m. The minimum cuttable unit is 5cm. The red circle indicates the length of the outlet wire, which is 25cm.
Fourth, confirm which LED neon connector to choose. If it is a white light or single color LED neon strip, choose a 2 core connector; if it is a CCT LED neon strip, choose a 3 core connector; if it is an RGB LED neon strip, choose a 4 core connector; if it is an RGBW LED neon strip or a DMX LED neon flex, choose a 5 core connector.
Fifth, clarify the type of LED neon strip outlet mode. There are mainly three types. Mainly, Bottom out outlet mode; Side out outlet mode; Straight out outlet mode. As the Figure 6 shown.
