What is UCS2903 LED Strip?
LEDSuntech’s uniquely designed 5PIN UCS2903 LED strip is a double-row lamp bead design, single signal transmission, and a programmable LED strip with an external IC.
This strip has a 24V voltage and supports 20 meters of operation without voltage drop, and no brightness attenuation at the beginning and end. 5 PIN design: 2 GND, 2 VCC, and one data line, convenient for replenishing power over longer distances.
Addressable LED strip, IC chip and LED interface can control the color of each LED individually, creating endless possibilities for color chasing effects. It can be used with SD card controller, DMX controller, Arduino, etc.
DC12V or DC24V power supply voltage, usually 3 or 6 or 12 lamp beads (1 IC) form a pixel of colorful LED strip. LED density has specifications such as 30 LEDs/meter, 60 LEDs/meter, 120 LEDs/meter, and the commonly used lamp bead package size is 5050.
RGB LED strip with IC addressing combines red, green and blue LED chips with smart integrated circuit chip UCS2903 to produce eye-catching chasing effects. It is capable of producing millions of colors and has the technology required to achieve individual pixel control.

Using with the controller can produce different effects: such as flashing, chasing, jumping, clockwise horse racing, counterclockwise horse racing, monochrome horse racing, color-changing horse racing, single chasing from beginning to end, flowing water, simulated lightning, etc.

3. Cascade control
UCS2903 is a three-channel LED drive control dedicated circuit, which integrates MCU digital interface, data latch, LED high-voltage drive and other circuits. Through the peripheral MCU control, the individual brightness of the chip is realized, and the cascade control realizes the color dot matrix light control of the outdoor large screen.
4. Single-line data transmission
Built-in dual RC oscillator, and clock synchronization is performed according to the signal on the data line. After receiving the data of this unit, it can automatically shape and forward the subsequent data. When linear transmission is completed, it can be infinitely cascaded.
5. High refresh rate
The data transmission frequency is 800K/s, which can achieve a screen refresh rate of 30 frames/s, not less than 1024 points, and the PWM control end can achieve 256-level adjustment, with a scanning frequency of 1.6MHz/s.
6. Long transmission distance
The chip VDD has a built-in 5V voltage regulator. The output port withstands 24V, and the transmission distance between any two points exceeds 10 meters without adding any circuit.
7. High constant current accuracy
The constant current mode with a preset 17mA/channel is adopted. The constant current accuracy is high, with an intra-chip error of 3% and an inter-chip error of 6%. The constant current value can be changed by an external resistor.
