What is WS2812 LED Strip?
WS2812 LED strip is a 5V addressable LED strip with a single-point single-pixel and built-in WS2812 LED IC.
WS2812 LED strip is single-point single-control, without breakpoint resume function. Generally, the control circuit and white or RGB chip are integrated in the 5050 package.
Common LED densities include 30LEDs/m/m, 60LEDs/m/m, 72LEDs/m/m, 84LEDs/m/m, 96LEDs/m/m, 120LEDs/m/m, 144LEDs/m/m, etc.

WS2812 LED Strip Connector
WS2812 LED strip uses 3 pin connector because it has 3 wires: Positive + Negative + Single Data Wire.
The 5V WS2812 LED strip has a low voltage and will experience a voltage drop when lighting over a long distance. It is better to add DC5V voltage every 16.4ft or 300LEDs, to avoid the LEDs at the far end of the strip being dimmer.

WS2812 LED Strip Distribution Wiring Diagram
To illuminate the WS2812 LED strip, you need to prepare at least a 5V power supply, an LED controller (K1000C, K8000C or SP pixel series controller), and the WS2812LED strip. It is worth noting that, first, the working voltage is 5V, not 12V or 24V, which is very important, otherwise it will burn out the light strip; second, use a 3 Pin LED connector.
